Hey y'all, I'm Alison!

Hey Y'all! I am SO glad you are here, so let me start by introducing myself! Born and raised in the South between North Carolina and Tennessee, southern romance runs through my veins. I grew up running barefoot in the Carolina mountains where ferns carpet the floors of the forests that I fell in love with. When I was lucky, the sunbeams would come filtering through those leaves and I swear it looked like the whole world was on fire. For a brief moment, it felt like I was lost in the pages of a novel. I daydreamed about getting married in those woods one day. Surrounded by ferns and fiery sunlight. I grew up reading fairy tales and dreaming of happily ever after with a man who would love me forever. Strength and passion and romance and adventure all wrapped up in a love story. Then you add in the little things... the way he looks at you when you aren't paying attention, the dimples that only come out when you tickle each other, the way the sunbeams light up your eyes right before that perfect kiss, and how he brushes the hair out of your face when the wind picks up. All the little moments between you that no one else might notice... but I will, because they're what matter most. And they are going to mean the world to you when you see them captured on film. THAT is the kind of love I can't wait to capture in every single shoot. A love that makes everyone else around you take note of what two people truly in love really look like. I may still be searching for my happily-ever-after, but capturing couples living theirs reminds me that true love is well worth the wait.
